kickazz 5,459 Report post Posted February 9, 2015 I know shootouts haven't been a topic for quiet some time. Kind of a good thing that we've been staying away from them.. But I found something interesting. Article came out a couple months ago. Not sure if it's been posted. If it's true someone send a "fan mail" to Zetterberg with this info. http://thedetroithustle.com/2014/12/19/why-does-henrik-zetterberg-refuse-to-shoot-high-in-the-shootout/

Aznknight 139 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 You give Z an assignment to stop Crosby, Toews or Kane or Malkin or Giroux from scoring and he will do it. You tell Z to kill a 5-3 penalty on a game 7 Stanley Cup final and he'll score the ugly OT goal for you after killing it. Shootouts just aint his forte.
