Except that was mostly true. Who are you even arguing with at this point?

Just posting my thoughts. Or am I not allowed to do that?

And it would have needed to be true tonight for a win, even though it was Howard they would have had to bail out and not Mrazek.

First game in a month. Easy to ignore I guess when you have an agenda. Howard has been exceptional all season and will be again. He just needs to play more to find his rhythm.

Oh. Excuses. I can play that game.

Howard's been a starter for 5 seasons and Mrazek is a rookie, but that's easy to ignore when you have an agenda. Petr just needs to start more to get used to playing in the NHL.

Go from winning 3-1 to losing 5-4 in a shootout. lol i remember when a multiple goal lead was actually comfortable. It's been awhile, but at a time, it was. Now whether its 3-1, 4-0..whatever, it never seems like enough. Hutchinson made all those shootout saves look easy, but when a guy shoots directly for your glove it does'nt get much easier than that. We got a point, and Howard did well in the shootout. At least we can take that from this game.

On to Monday...

Not really an excuse. Did you not expect someone that hasn't played in over a month to not show some rust? Mrazek got plenty of starts and played well in spurts -- I never denied that. He also showed he has plenty to work on still as a goalie and Howard being healthy gives the Red Wings the best chance to win going forward.

Mrazek's numbers aren't that great and the team did score a lot of goals in front of him. I don't know why that's such a travesty to point out. If Jimmy continues to give up four goals per game, then maybe you have more of a case. But he hasn't all season.

I don't. Except you did it two games into the season and continuously find ways to bash Howard even when he has been great before a rough outing tonight. You want people to hold Mrazek to a certain standard and then don't do it for Howard.
