frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted February 17, 2015 The Habs aren't that good they'll go as far as their superb goalie can take them. That being said Price is having an unbelievable year. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this

Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) I get the pairings thing, but if we need a real impact player, won't he just play with Smith too? Mike needs to get over Kronwall-Ericsson, that big dope has cost us a lot of points this year, not just tonight. He's best served as a 4/5. I honestly don't think Holland will make a move, but Petry would be a good fit. I realize being the best of a bad bunch isn't the most glowing endorsement, but I see the guy a lot being out west and he's under appreciated to say the least. MacTavish is a guy who thinks Justin Schultz could win a Norris afterall We're probably arguing over nothing though, because the pairs going into the playoffs are probably going to be the same as tonight give or take an Xavier Oullet sighting. Sorry, I was a bit harsh. Jeff Petry is criminally underappreciated, and he might be a good fit. My problem is that I feel he'd be "more of the same." We need a great passer, he's not a great passer. We need point production, he's not a point producer. We need, ideally, someone who's going to add another dimension to our D corps. So, if it were between Petry and, say, Zidlicky, I'd probably choose the latter. Why? Because Zidlicky is an excellent passer, an excellent shooter, an excellent quarterback, and a point producer. He's not Rafalski, but he's the same kind of thing. Edited February 17, 2015 by Dabura 1 derblaueClaus reacted to this
GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted February 17, 2015 I'll post some more pictures tomorrow. But here's me and my cousin at hockeytown cafe. Despite losing he had a great time at his first wings game and we had some great entertainment with a lunatic behind us screaming The whole time (wouldn't be surprised if he was a member here considering what he was saying) I had no idea that you were a little kid. Wow! Talk about being ahead of your age group. The Habs aren't that good they'll go as far as their superb goalie can take them. That being said Price is having an unbelievable year. Well, this is the era of a goalie getting hot and standing on his head, so they're in prime position.

Wait till they are facing more fire power, a better defense and a team that knows how to screen Price...their offense and defense aren't anything to write home about. Bailing the team out almost each and other game has to get tiresome at some point and if that point is in the playoffs, the Habs won't make it far.
