MabusIncarnate 5,344 Report post Posted February 19, 2015 I'm of the opinion that a full rebuild is entirely unnecessary and isn't going to happen, There are transitions happening, a lot of younger players are coming up, a lot of our older players are going to start phasing out, there isn't a reason, nor will they ever just start throwing games to lose for the sake of getting a better pick, to go full Buffalo or Edmonton and have 4-5 seasons of pointless misery when there are only minor issues to address. Would I rather deal with the fact for a season or two that we aren't the top end elite team of seasons past and face a potential early elimination from playoffs over having a terrible string of seasons and getting a higher draft pick that may or may not turn out to be of value to us in 4 years? Yes, absolutely. It's ridiculous.
