How is Howard supposed to stop any of those when there is no one defending the net and Stars players are left alone?

This team has no hunger. I honestly hope we have a new coach next fall. Not that Babcock isn't one of the best coaches in the NHL, but we just need some fresh blood behind the bench to get our players hungry.

How do you put up the stats he has without having two good games in a row? If anything, Jimmy has been remarkably consistent all season. Asking him to bail out this horrendous defense all the time is a tall order. Besides, he just had two quality starts consecutively before tonight.

Typical LGW throwing him under the bus. Dallas would have scored 4 long before they have without his strong play.Look how many odd man rushes Dallas has generated. Do that consistently and you score. None of the goals you can 100% put on the goalie. Guy was selected as an all star and having the best season of his career but yet somehow hasn't been consistent. Your assessment lacks common sense.

Howard did some weird looking flop right there, trying to sell contact it looked like from the replay. He should have just focused on making the save.

I thought the same thing. Not sure if your talking about the 2nd or 4th goal, but both of those he should have had covered up, especially the 4th one. Just laid there and let Cole bang away at it, perhaps hoping to get the interference penalty like you said, instead of just covering the puck. He is frustrating to watch at times.

I've limited my posting on this site because of the suck fest for Howard. I'm not saying Mrazek would be better today because his rebound control sucks but Howard being the vet needs to take games over and he just can't. The defense has cleared pucks from the crease several times. In my opinion I wouldn't blame these goals on the D. Howard won the game in Chicago but he's losing this one for us.
