TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted March 5, 2015 Zidlicky and Cole were both great tonight, Howard was the best player. What a deadly W, 3 game win streak! Agreed, three W's in a row.... Wait a minute, Toronto can't put three W's together in a row, how do they even have a website? (Sorry, couldn't resist). 5 Detroit \# 1 Fan, ami, Y19 and 2 others reacted to this
Euro_Twins 4,476 Report post Posted March 5, 2015 Great effort on the PP there. Awesome puck movement in the diamond. That RH shot is going to be huge moving forward. Zidlicky wins it in OT. Think Kenny knew something when he traded for him? He used his hot tub to see the future. 2 TheXym and Y19 reacted to this

Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted March 5, 2015 Not too fast. Remember the great Kyle Calder who couldn't stop scoring when he first came to Detroit? I do. Weirdest thing ever, looked like the pick-up of the century and then the playoffs roll around and he was playing like 18. Didn't he break his hand and no one ever said anything? GoalieManPat 1,007 Report post Posted March 5, 2015 When Franzen comes back, this team will be scary. The team right now is quick and hard working. The complete opposite of Franzens game at this stage in his career. 5 AtlantaHotWings, chaps80, Mors and 2 others reacted to this
kickazz 5,459 Report post Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) Side note; not sure if it was just me but it looked like Zetterberg skated better than he did before he was even injured. Almost seems like he just wanted the time off. Good game by Jimmy too. Edited March 5, 2015 by kickazz 1 Desert Rat reacted to this

TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted March 5, 2015 Howard was the reason the Wings pulled that one out. The team was pretty flat and not sharp for most of the game. Couldn't handle the NY forecheck. A wins a win though. I wonder how much of it was rust after being off for a few days after a west coast trip. Passing was pretty darn sloppy until the OT power play. kickazz 5,459 Report post Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) Cole maybe. Z I doubt it. Hes 38 and the Wings have atleast 2-3 youngsters ready for a roster spot. He may be kept at a lower price to transition the youngsters in as he phases out his career. Wings have had veterans take pay cuts just to stay with organizations they think they have a shot with. Besides, you cant consider age the same way with D-men like you would with forwards. Edited March 5, 2015 by kickazz 1 trule23 reacted to this

Guest Playmaker Report post Posted March 5, 2015 Is this a shot at me? You think Edzo has been calling this one fairly? I don't think he called it unfairly. I mean Ken and Mickey mention an "almost" too many men on the ice nearly every game. When Olczyk does it, he's making up calls! He hates the Wings!!! It's just gotten so out of hand. The league, Bettman, ESPN, the officials, don't hate the Wings. Really. 2 Wheelchairsuperhero and kipwinger reacted to this
