Ice is starting to tilt hardrer against us. Time to kick into the next gear

This team doesn't have a next gear. The kids just don't. We haven't been able to flip the proverbial switch since 2013, I think.

Drew Miller: two deep lacerations by right eye. No major damage.

Yeah my cat did that to me one morning by using my face to jump up to the window. Worse than a broken cheekbone by far. He'll be out a week.

Agreed, I don't doubt they're giving it all they have. They simply don't have the skill.

I'm not concerned about the Wings' slow start today. They saw a well-liked teammate go down with what initially looked like it could have been a career-ending injury (imagine if the skate had cut his eye). That shakes up even the coolest of heads. Once they see him healthy - hopefully in the locker room right now - they should, hopefully, step it up.

The wings are just preparing us for the playoffs, if they get in. No use complaining. We have seen this for several years now. Babcock will likely be gone next year.

Funny how the TSN announcers were saying Babcock said this is his best team since 2009. lol It was earlier in the season maybe, but now when it counts, they're dead out there.
