An already clinched Montreal without Pacioretty. Those are absolutely winnable games for us. Pittsburgh on the other hand is in free fall right now and is still missing Malkin and Letang. It's Pittsburgh and maybe even Boston (depending how they play their third last game) that is in deep trouble, not us.

Not entirely true. Anyone who has been paying attention knows that no one wants to play Ottawa right now. If the Rangers have a chance to knock Ottawa out of the big dance before having to play them in a seven game series, they'll sure as hell take it.
