Whatever. You don't deserve to choke your way into the playoffs. Good for the Sens. We still control our destiny so if we straighten up we will deserve to be there. If not, it won't break my heart.

Pens fans must be in meltdown mode.

Wings will finish with 101 points. 3rd in Atl, and Boston and Ottawa will finish with the Wild Card spots

And you're basing this off what? Certainly not our last 10 games. We barely won tonight against an AHL team.

Yeah, I'd like not to get the rangers in the first round.

Why not? We have no chance of ever beating Price. I'd rather play the Rangers.

An already clinched Montreal without Pacioretty. Those are absolutely winnable games for us. Pittsburgh on the other hand is in free fall right now and is still missing Malkin and Letang. It's Pittsburgh and maybe even Boston (depending how they play their third last game) that is in deep trouble, not us.

Amen.

Ya cause babs plays the 4th line more than the 1st

Pittsburgh only needs one point to clinch a playoff spot and they play Buffalo in their last game.

That can't be true we have more points than them

Price wants the record for 43 wins .. Most by a hab goalie and Thursday will likely be his last shot

If Ottawa wins out, Boston wins one more, and the Pens only get one point, the Pens don't make it. We have 97 points and need 2 to clinch. Pens need 3 to clinch. (assuming Ottawa wins out, and Boston doesn't s*** the bed the rest of the way)

hey, look at it this way, Rags already clinched the top spot. Everyone is saying they have nothing to play for, that may be true, but what does Montreal have left to play for then? Maybe the play a who cares game against us Thursday. They have nothing to gain by playing all their starters or risking too much...

I barely even care if they make it in or not at this point. It's pretty pathetic that it has to come to this the way this team played most of the season. We looked lousy against a terrible team for too much of the game tonight, and it's fitting that we're in no better shape than we were before the game started. When you can't come out with a better effort against a team like the Hurricanes at this point in the season when we're in the position we're in, it's just sad.

What a frustrating finish to what should've been a much better season. I obviously want to make the playoffs, but the way this team is playing lately, I really don't expect much out of this team. It's funny that a win is about the low point of the season for me, but it's just been such a lousy stretch lately and this team found a way to still look terrible for far too much of a game against a terrible team. It's pathetic any way you shake it.

No maybe they want to play us and by beating us they could put us into the 7 seed

Price record and habs want home ice advantage ...they'll show up Thursday

Just gotta hope boston loses tomorrow and and pens lose next game cause I don't see any way they don't get 2 pts vs buffalo .. I'm sure buffalo management will demand them to tank behind the scenes :P

Ah right, my bad. But still...they are going to beat the Sabres!

I can guarantee you if an injured Pens team has to play a young Sabres team with a playoff spot on the line, the Sabres will absolutely not be an easy loss on that night. That is a team that would LOVE to end their season knocking the Pens out of the playoffs.

The division is still up for grabs. Montreal hasn't clinched that yet.
