I remember that time. I use to never even get nervous when the Wings were down 1 or 2 goals, I almost knew they would come back and they almost always did. Nowadays? Not so much. Down 1 and I feel hopeless.

This has got to be a real heartbreaker for Nashville. They've played really solidly in this series and just can't put the Blackhawks away. Any other team in the West and they're probably walking away with this series right about now.

I'd much rather Nashville advance and the Blackhawks go out in the first round. No dynasty talk that way.

I don't remember how it all shook out but I'm guessing that losing skid by Nashville put them in the position to face Chicago in the first round? Though I guess the new stupid playoff format also played a factor or they'd be facing the Wild in the first round.

Oh, honey. We never let things go. We still hate the Ducks for making a Homer sandwich in 2007 and Pronger (who isn't even with them any more) making excuses that he's 6'6" and can't control where his elbows go. "It's physics!"

We still hate the Penguins because Crosby didn't shake hands at the end when they won in 2009, and we still remember that they got away with 36 seconds of too many men on the ice to win that Cup.

Nashville was probably the only team that had a chance in my eyes. Minnesota is done in 5 against Chicago, and the Ducks will maybe go 6. At this point, the Blackhawks don't have any obstacles to the finals. And I don't see any east team beating them other than maybe the Rangers.
