That and the shots don't tell the whole story. I don't think the Wings were that bad as some make them here. It wasn't a huge period for sure but we all knew that Tampa is an offensive powerhouse before and that the Wings would have to survive some offensive zone sieges. They did so far and not just because they are lucky but because they kept the slot clean and were first to clear Mrazeks rebounds. Of course Mrazek has a huge game so far, too.

Wings just need to shoot the puck a little bit more and clear the puck faster.

I know Wings aren't playing that great, but when did Tampa become a defensive powerhouse? Ridiculous... I hope its just adrenaline starting a playoff series for young team... a whole series of this and Wings are doomed.
