chaps80 1,591 Report post Posted April 22, 2015 http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=764499&navid=nhl:topheads Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara has a non-displaced fracture of his left fibula. He does not need surgery, the Bruins said. He reportedly will not be able to play for Slovakia in the 2015 IIHF World Championship, which begins May 1. Chara, 38, was injured after taking a shot off his ankle April 4 against the Toronto Maple Leafs but averaged more than 24 minutes of ice time in the Bruins' final three games of the regular season. He's one tough douchebag.

wings_fanatic 677 Report post Posted April 22, 2015 I have always respected Chara. He plays the game tough and is not always looking to run guys over like he could. More than that he seems like a nice person. But to play through that, well it shows you how tough hockey players are what the dedication they have.
