The NHL has refs pick and choose when to call penalties, that is not acceptable. That was the most obvious slash in the corner and it was not called.

watch the first goal again, if Helm continued to skate toward the net or just shot it toward it instead if trying to cut back a second time, Stralman doesn't steal the puck and the 1st goal never happens. That momentum change is all on Helm's bad decision. Watch it, you'll see.

Helm turned the puck over, but the Wings were all in good position to handle the rush. The breakdown happened the moment Ericsson abandoned the right side to cover the slot and pass the goal scorer off to Helm, who wasn't in good position to box him out. We had two defensman back, and two forwards backchecking with the play. There's no reason why Johnson should have a clear path to the net, and if Ericsson read the play correctly, Johnson would have been boxed out.

The difference is he's still learning, Howard lets in soft goal all the time, and say Howard did start this series, its quite possible that this series would've been over tonight, don't blame it on the kid thats been carrying us for one bad goal where E our vet and top pairing defense men just sat back and watched both plays that led to the goals.

Man, you really want to start s***ting on him now the way he's been playing??? It'd be one thing if there weren't mistakes in front of, but there were.
