Helm turned the puck over, but the Wings were all in good position to handle the rush. The breakdown happened the moment Ericsson abandoned the right side to cover the slot and pass the goal scorer off to Helm, who wasn't in good position to box him out. We had two defensman back, and two forwards backchecking with the play. There's no reason why Johnson should have a clear path to the net, and if Ericsson read the play correctly, Johnson would have been boxed out.

exactly my point, Helm should've just went forward instead of try to get fancy...he just tried to get fancy again there instead of just shooting it and game/series over...Helm made two bad decisions and it cost them a 3-1 series lead.

I am not even upset. They had it won and gave it away. So it goes. Series tied... going to TB now, where they have the best home record in the league. Not a very good plan, Wings. What can one say about this? SMH

Babcock is the worst at using time outs. Oh let's use it to group our offense before a 5on3 so later when they score and the wings are on their heels, it's gone. you could see their style of play change at the 10 minute mark

Yeah that's probably the turning point. Mraz should have had that first goal and then we probably win the game 2-0. Ericsson and Kronwall are the worst pairing to put on the ice after a goal for or against they're both so easily rattled. Ericsson lets his man walk right down the middle
