Tampa Bay Head Coach Jon Cooper Accuses Red Wings Of Cheating

He's not wrong, the Wings do it more than any other team in the league. I'm honestly not a fan of it, for the same reason I'm not a fan of a bunch of other things that go uncalled. That said, the bigger question is why other teams aren't doing it more. Obviously the officials let it go, so instead of whining about the Wings getting away with "cheating", why don't other teams do more of it?

Really? You must watch a lot of hockey and a lot of other teams then to make that statement.

The fact that the Red Wings get away with this is a testament to the prowess of Babcock as a coach. He knows the refs won't call 'subtle' interference, so he teaches his team to do it and do it well, giving his team the advantage. Either change the rule or start enforcing it more strictly, till then it's perfectly fair what we're doing. Sorry you didn't think of it first. Boo hoo

I can't remember seeing a team ***** to the refs more than Tampa has in this series..

Watch any team coached by Vigneault.

That's where the Wings being the "best (or worst)" at it falls apart for me. They're somehow doing it more than anyone in the league, but consistently getting away with it enough to make it a sound strategy? How exactly are they pulling a fast one on all the refs in the league night after night?

So you watch every single game.

haha thats such a near-sighted argument.

No, but I do watch each of the 82 games the wings play, and that includes 29 other teams. I also watch hockey every night and these things do get noticed...

I guess we should disregard everything Bob Mckenzie says since he "doesnt watch every single game"
