Lol. Don't get me wrong, I love the enthusiasm, but I think the chances of Kindl getting an empty net goal are about the lowest on the team.

Game 6 two turnovers from our D (Smith and Zidlicky) directly lead to goals. If that happens from our team again we're done. Now with Kronwall and Zidlicky out, more than any other time, we need to play a simple game and absolutely clog up neutral ice and play the trap. That's our chance.

When the Wings have had success shutting down Tampa's offense it's been mainly the hard work of the forecheckers holding up their breakouts, great defensive work by the forwards through the neutral zone have made the Bolts dump and chase which they're not comfortable with and the forwards have been helping out a lot even below the dots in their own end. If they continue to play strong, if they can give one more gut busting performance I can see the Wings winning a close one.

I think the math is simple. Either Datsyuk or Zetterberg must score. Tatar or Nyquist must score. Somebody else must score one. If we get three I think we'll get at least to OT. I do.

I call on the power of the 2002 effort, the only game 7 the wings and Avs ever played

Beat a much tougher opponent in the 2013 Ducks team. I believe this Wings team is better then that 2013 team, Abdelkader has grown into a real dependable player and guys like Eaves, Samuelsson, Brunner and Cleary are replaced by Glendening, Helm, Ferraro and Miller which I think is a nice upgrade. Nyquist and Tatar to add to that and this is a much faster and skilled team. Kronwall out definitely hurts but the Wings have some of the best 2 way forwards in the game.

Ahh, it's that time again--the dreaded game 7. The Wings are due for a big game 7 win, but I'm still damn nervous about the outcome... which might be a good thing, since the last time I really felt confident for a game 7 was in the 2009 SCFs, and we all know how that turned out! Win or lose, I'm proud to see how far the Wings managed to push Tampa Bay back, and practically had 'em on the brink of elimination. No, but really, please win, Red Wings. Here's to a great and memorable game 7, in the best possible way, and a happy birthday to Mike Babcock. May your wishes and sandwiches come true.

The Wings had a really good record all season when scoring 3 or more. I was keeping track of their record when doing so for most of the season but stopped.

Despite the odds, the bull crap calls, the ridiculous suspension and every other happenstance that has occurred, win this game! NBC has spent a ton of money for preview production and stories about various Bolts... it's pretty clear who is 'supposed' to move on. I hope the Wings ruin their party, I really do!
