Dude, please stop with the "I told you so" crap concerning the Weiss signing.

You may have not liked the Weiss signing, but you called David Clarkson a "must get" that same offseason and advocated giving him 4.5-5 million dollars. In the same thread you advocated signing Ryane Clowe for 4-4.5 million. So it's not like you were some free agency oracle that year. Maybe you wouldn't have signed Weiss, but you would have sunk even more money into players who were just as bad or worse. Hell, Clowe doesn't even play pro hockey anymore.

So lets just give a rest eh?

clowe would probably get 4-4.5 ... id rather get clarkson but id go for both , we need big bodies that arent old men like bertuzzi and samuelsson especially now that were gonna be with boston .... it we get clarkson and clowe our forwards would be one of the top 5 in the nhl (course we'd have to fix our defence)

Clarkson if he was here for 2 million instead of what he's getting I think people wouldn't complain, it's that contract and playing in toronto that killed him ... He's a good effective bottom 6 guy and I do expect he'll be better in Columbus next season

And if you check the thread there were a lot of people pro clarkson not just myself ... The contract term was just ridiculous
