2-0, 7-6.. same difference. The "king" is dethroned.... Would have been fine with either team winning.

"The King" still has no Cups. "The squire" is a more fitting nickname for someone with one Finals appearance and no Cups.

Elvis was "The King"

Gable was "The King"

Lundqvist's having that nickname is absurd.

While I don't care for the nickname he can't score goals for his team, you don't win if you don't score

Neither did Hasek until he had a great team in front of him. And believe me, Hasek's legacy was created when he won 6 Vezinas. The Cup in 2002 was the icing on the cake.

Never said he was. But he is the best in the game, and has been for years. Nobody has been more consistently good then the King. It is a crime he does not have a cup. But it does not take away from how good he really is.

Goalies are a dime a dozen nowadays. And Price is the best in the game at the present moment.

I know you need scoring and teammates to win nowadays. The best goalies don't win the Cups. My only point here is his silly, undeserved nickname.

They technically traded Halak for Ryan Miller, then let Miller walk for Brian Elliot. But same point stands I guess.

True, but Miller's stay was very short and forgettable. First round exit after making the trade that many thought might win them the cup.
