Euro_Twins 4,469 Report post Posted June 6, 2015 Tomorrow EA going to announce all the features that will be in the game. Lot of websites I've seen have the main focus be on EASHL this year. They'll just add back half the features we lost in 14 and call them new
MabusIncarnate 5,343 Report post Posted August 4, 2015 Been playing the EASHL beta this week, it's nothing special, if anything, it's been stripped yet again by entirely removing the card system. There is now nothing to work for, you just pick from one of 4 different player classes. It plays okay, it's a small step forward from 15 on the One, but it still needs a lot of work to stand up to the gameplay quality of previous titles. Slowly but surely, they are getting it together, but I still don't think this year is going to be all that great. Bring back right stick dangling and fix the skating EA. Hey man nice shot! 144 Report post Posted September 11, 2015 Well just played the game for a few hours on early access. It feels like it should be a $20 dlc for nhl15. I do like how the AI will knows where the blue line is when you are in their zone. Any other impressions?
HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted September 12, 2015 Drove an hour down to the twin cities to get myself a free copy and meet some Wild players. Games better then 15 that's for sure. AI a lot better. Only played 2 games so far so can't make to much of an impression.
UpstateNYRedWingsFan 42 Report post Posted September 14, 2015 Why isn't Dylan Larkin in the game yet? He played wth the Grifs in the playoffs last year.
TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted September 22, 2015 I was also disappointed to see Larkin wasn't in yet, though I hope he is added in a roster update. It's the first hockey game I got for the Xbox One. Nice graphics, looking forward to playing through a season then doing be a pro.

MabusIncarnate 5,343 Report post Posted October 2, 2015 It still feels like you weigh 400 lbs when you are skating and stopping, I don't know what it is, it feels like there's way too much friction when you should glide. I've been playing it a bit lately since it's release and I give it a solid 7/10, but my opinion hasn't changed much from the beta. It still needs work, they need to revert back to how stick handling worked in the previous generation of games. I also think there needs to be a separation of EASHL modes, one can be how it is, simplistic, pick a class and play on an even ice surface. They also need to bring back the card system and make it more of a "ranked" mode, where you can work on your progress, put stats where you want, and get rewarded for how much you play in the long term. That would make everyone happy if they appealed to both ends of players. It's improving, but I still see this gen of NHL a step down from last gen in nearly every capacity except graphics and presentation.
