It's been 2 days since he's been announced as coach and I cannot find anything about what his salary will be. The only thing they've let be known is it's a 4 year term. Does anyone have any information on this?

I believe he should be in the $2M+ Salary range per year, what do you guys think?

Kenny Holland mentioned it's a 3 year deal. Incidently Kenny's own contract is at 3 years.

$2M maybe even 2.5 sounds about right to me. Haven't seen anything on what he'll earn.

Holland said in the presser Blash is signed for four years

Looks like blash is either bringing his Griffins assistant coaches with him or looking for a couple new ones..

The Toronto Maple Leafs filled out Mike Babcocks coaching staff naming three assistant coaches on Tuesday.

Jim Hiller and Andrew Brewer, who spent time with Babcock in Detroit, join the Leafs.

I'm pretty sure they're working on a new multi-year deal for Granato, and it's still looking like they will have Chelios in some sort of assistant coaching role as well...

I have heard this. I saw somewhere that he went to interview with toronto and buffalo then returned to detroit to work on a contract.

I guess Chelios won't be behind the bench for the Wings next season. He was named assistant coach of the US National Junior Team behind head coach Ron Wilson.

This makes more sense. If chelios wants to be coach, fine, but get his feet wet in a non NHL league and let's go from there.
