Lucic to LA

Boston got a better return for Lucic than they did Dougie.

Imagine how good Boston could be if they kept Seguin and Hamilton now. That would be a great young core, I have no idea what they are doing now in Boston. What are they going to trade up to 3 from Arizona and take Hanifin just to flip him for some picks in 3 more years? Seams like the Boston way.

Perry vs Lucic.....Sorta like a battle between 'Massengill' vs 'Summers Eve'.

Nah they're more like that weird dollar store off brand vs...that *other* weird dollar store off brand.

Anyway Lucic is a giant steaming walking stack of pewp and the Kings deserve all the nasty smell that's gonna come with signing him.

*plugs nose*

What a bad trade Bruins are becoming softer and worse on the defense. The Hamilton trade is almost as bad as the Seguin one and then they've also traded a true power forward in Lucic wow Sweeney. Kings not only become even tougher but also more feared..But yeah, some like to kick tires while others are getting blockbusters done

Hamiltons much worse, IMO.

A young, probable #1 dman for a box of scarps! (I know it wasn't scarps, it was picks, but still, yes I mean scarps, not scraps) with seguin they got Eriksson, who was still a really good player.

And with bergeron, krejci, and soderberg they didn't need another c, plus they had all that money on defense.

....

Especially since what they got for him was probably worse than the RFA compensation they could have gotten, and then they went and used the 1st rounder they got on a kid likely to go in the 2nd or 3rd.

Meh, Lucic is vastly overrated. Plus, no chance in hell the Bruins ever deal either player to the Wings without badly overpaying

It wasn't looking like that bad of a trade until the salary retention. Lucic had a down year and played like an idiot a lot the last season or so, and they were possibly going to lose him for nothing next season.

But it does make the Hamilton trade look even worse since they freed up some cap space they could've used on him.

It'll be interesting to see how Lucic plays on the Kings. They're a tough team but still know how to play in control, as opposed to the Bruins.
