dragonballgtz 273 Report post Posted June 30, 2015 TSN report: Saad, a restricted free agent, was reportedly asking for a deal in the $6.5 million per year range after helping the Blackhawks to their second Stanley Cup in his third NHL season. After this quote from Bowman: "We'll work that out. I have a lot of confidence that Brandon will be a big part of our group for many years to come," Bowman said. "We'll make it work. Those things aren't of a concern to me." I guess this is the bad part of having a young winning team. They want their big contract faster instead of a "bridge" deal. 1 Gordie Howe hat trick reacted to this
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted June 30, 2015 Anisimov is a good piece, big fast skilled third line center with some upside. Dano is pretty damn good too.
Nightfall 871 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Saad is going to get a big pay day from Columbus.
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 I hate CBJ, but man, if the injury bug doesn't hit them like a tsunami again next season, they're gonna be dangerous.
Helmethead 235 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Agreed. Columbus will be good.
matt198913 932 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 CBJ will win the cup with this team if they don't get hurt
MrazekFanBoy 223 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 No they won't lol they don't have enough center depth... They will make the playoffs probably won't get past 1st round
wingsfan4795 552 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Their center depth is fine and their wingers are lethal. If they can sign one quality Dman this offseason they'll be serious contenders
matt198913 932 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Dude they are big almost everywhere with great goaltending. LA East
MrazekFanBoy 223 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 They aren't better than the Rangers or Tampa lol
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 They aren't better than the Rangers or Tampa lolYou say they don't have good center depth, then say they're not as good as the rangers, who don't have a real #1 center. 1 BuckeyeWingsfan80 reacted to this
BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 No they won't lol they don't have enough center depth... They will make the playoffs probably won't get past 1st round You have no idea what you're talking about (again)....the main issue with Columbus is quality defensemen who can stay healthy. Their forward lines are stacked and Bob is good enough to win in the playoffs.
Helmethead 235 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 They need Ryan Murray to be healthy. High draft pick but injured all the time. He has to show something this season.

Rhah 195 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Callers in Chicago were clueless today saying Saad asking for too much instead of giving hometown discount now has to play with bad players. SMH. Johannsen, Foligno, Hartnell? Trash players according to the Hawks super fans.

Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Decent return for Chicago. Anisimov can put up decent numbers. Was hoping we'd trade for him. If Columbus can stay healthy they're gonna be dangerous.
number9 3,297 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Anisimov is way overrated if you ask me
RusDRW 155 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Chicago is far from being a looser in this trade. It seems people have to clue who Marco Dano is. Tatar is the best comparison I can come up with but Dano is bigger and better overall. Plus, they got Anisimov.
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 (edited) Jenner, Johanson, Johnson, Saad not bad not bad at all. If the Blue Jackets can stay healthy watch out. It still amazes me how GMs are expecting hometown discounts like it's the usual thing to do. Why should a player sign for less? As a thank you they'll get a lockout every x years or when they are well into their 30s how can we get rid of you fast enough. So it's great to see players in their 20s finally getting their paydays before UFA Edited July 1, 2015 by frankgrimes
