Listen up. Here is a lesson for all of us to follow from now on.

Whenever you're in doubt in life, just ask yourself "What would Jaromir Jagr do in my position?" The answer is the philosophy to follow for the future.

But what if I'm at a nice restaurant, and I'm torn between the NY Strip, and Ribeye?

Stand up. Walk out. Find young model. Bring home. ;) . Sleep. Don't care.

It's really that simple. And it's preferable to the Hudler way... ya know, paying for ;)

Maybe you should just follow his advise when it comes to your love life. Not career advise: I wish he'd never had gone to Russia - he'd be racking up the records right now.

Maybe. Or maybe he would have retired had he not gone to Russia. It could be that he needed time away and came back wanting to finish his career in the NHL. Who knows? But the game over there isn't as physically demanding, so maybe he bought some time and years by leaving. It would be nice to see where he'd stand in the record books, but who cares?

Messier is 2nd in points and no one in their right mind would consider him the 2nd best scorer in history. Or Francis as the 4th best scorer.

I wish he played for us. We could add a few more years to his career. Would fit in well with our roster type. I've never been the biggest fan of signing old players, but he's played for every team besides the Wings so I'm feeling bad he's never played for us.

BTW, I've never heard that nickname. Sounds like something the model would call him. Is there something you're not telling us?

;) Can't say anything. Strangely enough, I only call him that because growing up it's what Don Cherry would call him on Coaches Corner

That's all true. Maybe he wouldn't have lasted as long had he stayed. It's hard not think that it cheated his legacy at least a little, though. Highest numbers matter more when we get farther removed from the time that the player actually played.

If anything has marred his legacy, it's playing for like 10 teams in the last 3 years. I wonder where he'll go to next? Then again, he needs to be traded from Florida as they're not a Cup contender.

I don't think "cup contenders" are what motivates him. From what I've gathered these last few years from where he's gone and what he's said is he loves mentoring younger players (they basically all are to him I guess) and being that guy without all the pressure on his shoulders. I really don't think another cup is a must for him. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Florida the first team he's re-signed with in a while? From what I know he said he loves that team and enjoys his role with all the young players they have, which is why he resigned. I don't know exactly why, but for some reason it gave me even more respect for him. It seems as if he's more concerned for his teammates careers then he is of his... hopefully he avoids their girlfriends ;)

Other than that I've always heard he's a gym freak like Chelly. I firmly believe going back to europe had nothing to do with his sustained level of play. He's like Lidstrom... except Lidstrom would rather retire and spend time with his family. Jagr still likes hockey and 18 year old models.

There's plenty of 18 year old models in Miami.

*note to self*vacation in FL.

If you meet a model, make sure you don't let her take her phone to bed. Imagine how mortified you'd be if your picture was all over the internet in bed with a model.
