I'm pretty sure at the last game Holland said that Larkin wouldn't start with the wings. Anyone else see that interview?

He didn't definitively rule it out. It was more typical Holland speak -- they would prefer Larkin start in Grand Rapids and play a lot, as opposed to limited minutes in Detroit. Which I don't disagree with that stance, but if Larkin is good enough to make the team, I have faith Blash will use him properly.

No.

Nononono

Pulks looks good, dylark should've shot that one.

Pulks!

Can we just bring these damn kids?

man, the prospects are playing better than the vets.

Looking at games/highlights around the NHL we have the best prospect lineup imo.

From top to bottom, its between us and the jets...

But its hard to top Edmonton just because of Mcdavid and nurse.

Franzen with a little shake and bake.

God its weird seeing the guys smiling and joking on the bench, and the coach being in on it.

Athanasiou hasn't been too great today either.

Miller Andersson Ferraro is our slowest line tonight.

By a country mile.

Watching the rest of the team go, then that line comes on and looks like the ice is pouridge

I haven't kept up with all the details of the rule changes, but what Ken and Mick mentioned this period was kind of a slight shocker. (but not really)

So teams will have no timeouts this year. And by that I mean, if you want to retain your "challenge" you have to give up your time out, And being that the NHL has, by FAR the worst, most inconsistent and horrible officiating in all of professional sports, you pretty much have to give up your time out to challenge the potential (but likely) bad or non-calls by the refs.

Undoubtedly the refs unions made sure this was the case. "Don't dare question our authority, or thou shalt be punished"

Isn't it like football? You only lose your timeout if the call stands?
