I don't really mind seeing as how Larkin is doing what Richards was brought here to do and doing it better.

I actually forgot about Cole until I read this lol.

true but it feels like a waste for us and a shame all 3 of those guys were decent players until they dawn the winged wheel and boom they all have issues only one thing richards is not 90

Is that allowed?

Buy a guy out then bring him back on a short term deal?

Who knows, if they did it that would look like the dumbest thing on paper though ahah. He'd likely make way more than he originally was with his buyout salary still paying him.

It was definitely just a joke. Dats, Lark (or Z), Sheahan, Glen looks good down the middle to me.

I read somewhere that's it's not allowed to re-sign someone that you've just bought out. Otherwise, it could be used as a way to make a caphit lower. I don't what the rules are after a certain amount of time passes

Oh.

Cuz I'm definitely serious.

Ha.

(I'm not)

I remember back in the day hearing rumors Tampa was gonna trade Vinny, the other team was gonna buy him out then he was gonna sign back with Tampa for less.

I didn't think you thought it was serious - I shouldn't have written it that way.

On the subject of Vinny, he's already been a healthy scratch this year and looks headed for another buyout.

Please hush. Kenny might be listening.

Oh please, it's fine. Especially when Bill Genious Berzeench takes over Kenny's job .

Kenny gunna trade for Kopitar, you heard it here first folks.

OooOoOO...that would be nice, but man, at what cost? A roster player, pick, 2 or 3 prospects?

Highly unlikely. But if he did why not? Kopitar is one of the best two-way players in the world. He's fit right into our system. Edited by kickazz

My first move is Byfuglien for Kindl, Ouellet, and a first in 2017.

It takes two to tango. Just because you come up with an offer you feel is good, it doesn't mean Winnipeg would accept. For all we know that offer has been made and rejected.

just to clear my post up, the kopitar trade was a quote from another user, I pressed the quote button, but it doesn't show as a quote...it was not my statement...

Jets are going to lose him. Gotta get the deal done soon. He wont be available forever.

I'm not saying that there is no chance that the Jets will trade him. What I am saying is this is not NHL '16 where you can just force a trade. Two teams need to agree. Plus, if the Jets feel they are a playoff team, they may not want to give him up. You make it sound like all Holland has to do is send a trade offer and "boom" done deal. The real world doesn't work that way.

Datsyuk has left midway through his first practice. Expected time frame likely still mid-November.

#13 is getting closer...can't wait!

When Datsyuk is back, I'd like to see...

Nyquist - Zetterberg - Abdelkader

Tatar - Datsyuk - Jurco

Sheahan - Larkin - Pulkkinen

Helm - Glendening - Miller / Ferraro

When Green and Quincey are back, I'd like to see...

DeKeyser - Green

Kronwall - Ericsson

Smith - Quincey
