Wow...

The Wings look completely confused out there... like nobody really knows what the f*** is going on.

Really disjointed.

Plus it looks like it is going to be "one of those games" with the refs too.

What was that, like a half dozen blatant trips committed by Carolina, with no call on any of them? Ironic that the first call against the Wings is a trip with all the Carolina trips the refs conveniently ignored....

1. Wings have been turnover machines in the neutral zone on the breakout. Combine that with the fact that the puck carrier hasn't been supported defensively with a guy behind him and you get quality scoring chances, including the Canes' first goal. At least last year when we lost the puck on the breakout we had guys in position to limit scoring chances.

2. Wings are struggling to maintain offensive pressure. Our scoring chances all seem to be off rebounds from perimeter shots. We need more presence in the slot.

3. Still haven't noticed anyone not named Zetterberg, Abdelkader, or Larkin.

Boy oh boy Howard looks shakey.

why would he uncover the puck and throw it to kronwall in the corner... talk about suicide pass the last thing we need is another injury.

Especially on our already thin blue line

#GetEOffTheTopPair

The Richards line looks alright but he can't keep up with them and on the back check I've noticed it's jurco or tats gunning back and Richards just cruising back

Agreed, with one exception : I thought our 2nd line was much better than our first. Our first had their moments, but Richards and Tartar were much more an offensive thread out there.

Just got in... judging from the posts and the fact we got scored on within the first minute, is this the-team-of-year-past that showed up?

It's pretty much the same team that showed last time we played against Carolina. Sloppy plays, below average defense, but our goalie stands tall so far.
