I'm going to say this. Babcock took a lot of flack for not mixing his lines sometimes. However there is something to be said for allowing players to gel with their linemates instead of constantly juggling lines. Blashill may have been to quick to change things up. Of course injuries haven't helped.

I don't get it either first 11 games (8 preseason) we looked unstoppable aka Montreal Canadiens... Last 4 games completely different team. What ever happened to Helm? Used to be dynamite every shift.. Was so looking forward to him and Glendening same line, yet he's garbage and made Glenny garbage with him. You're right something is not right all of a sudden.

Has anyone noticed that the Wings can't even complete a pass? It's like the second they get the puck on their stick they just have to throw it to the player furthest up the ice.

I'm worried it's just Blash's system at this point. The players are hustling, they're not being lazy, they're just making terrible s***ty plays. Defensive zone coverage is awful and no one has any puck support. All other teams have to do is rush the puck carrier and we do something stupid with it and turn it over every time.

I've always liked Quincey. I think maybe some people expected him to score here like he did in LA/Colorado and we're disappointed when he didnt. But, he's a solid player and has been a good replacement for Brad Stuart, imo.

They don't seem to be in sync with one another, but part of it is there's a lot of standing around waiting for the puck and when they get it because they're not moving, the puck is easily taken away. You don't have to skate the puck out of the zone, but you have to pass it to players who are moving otherwise it's entirely too easy to defend.
