Really? I must have missed it. Who was the hit on?

maybe it wasnt huge huge but it was huge for what the wings usually do

im not sure who but he first manhandled one of the sedins got it out of the zone then went on the forecheck and nailed one of the defenders behind miller that led to a turnover right on to abs stick in the slot

Say what you want about Gus but dude is clutch... He's scored some huge goals in his short few years...kept the playoff streak alive single handedly

Also Pulkkinen - he may not be the most complete player (and got flipped like a rag doll after the whistle last night), but he's been putting up goals. 4 goals in 8 games. The question with him at the beginning of the season was whether he get his scoring touch to transfer to the NHL - well, that's a hell of a start.

He's one of those guys LGW will complain about all season but at the end of the year will pot 25 goals... I'd rather see Jurco but if the pucks going in the net it's hard to complain about... I don't love his style of play tho

I'm not been a huge fan but you have to admit that was a slick goal tonight.

I was reading the game recap and it mentioned "We had a talk in here about losing four in a row and we gotta go out there and win some battles," Nyqvist said. "I think that was the biggest thing. We skated hard, we out-battled them and won more pucks and wanted it more, and I thought that showed in the third."

I don't understand why it gets to that point before the team gets motivated. It's not lack of talent, it's not coaching. Blash might be new to the NHL but he's certainly not new to coaching. Hopefully tonight will mark a turnaround, we've all saw losing streaks before and I panic just as much as anyone else.
