I'd really like to see Nyquist -Sheahan - Jurco again. They had great chemistry in the past. I wouldn't want to be accused of demotng Nyquist, but its the chemistry that's more important right? So, if that line played together and the 2nd was Tatar - Larkin - Pulk, who can take the RW spot on Z's line with Abby?

I think there's something to be said for a bigger winger and a smaller winger on each line.

Nyquist-Sheahan-Jurco

Zetterberg-Larkin-Abdelkader

Tatar-Datsyuk-Mantha

Glendening-Helm-Athanasiou

Ferraro/Pulkkinen

Richards and Miller are not in the plans for next year, and they shouldn't be for this year either. It's not like we are lighting the world on fire WITH these guys, so send them down to GR and let them play out the last of their deals as mentors for the noobies.

Bill, I get what you are saying, but it makes ZERO sense to sign Richards and then send him down. Besides, on his 35+ contract might leave a ton of his salary against the cap, the most you can bury is $950,000, hence the reason Cleary was signed to that exact much.

Miller and Richards will be here this season, more than likely not next year, that is when we'll see the like of AA & Mantha making the jump I do believe.

True. But Carolina are the type of team that sucks the life out of games, crazy to say but Id rather play Tampa just to enjoy the hockey.

I agree. It's too early in the season to manufacture excitement as a fan for Carolina.

So is Babcock hockey or Blashill hockey more boring?

Babcock advocated shots on net, so even when we didn't score at least there were shots. I don't know what Blashill advocates but shots are few and far between these days.
