Boys are looking good and fast in that period. They can definitley hang with this team. AA on the fourth brings another dimension. Again, it looks like Jurco's days are numbered here. IMO, they can keep AA up and trade Jurco and one of Andy/Ferraro. Then the other when Datsyuk comes back. I like Jurco, but if they aren't going to play him, and AA looks this good in his debut, useless to keep Jurco here.

Dallas analysts are stunned that the Wings only got three shots in the 2nd, bragging on how great Dallas is to hold them to that and stop them. Little do they know... no one needs to stop the Wings from shooting. They just don't. LOL~

Isn't that part of why they actually play the games? If they keep pushing the way they did in the 2nd half of the second, I like our chances. Howard is better than Lehtonen, and I think Kari is due to return to his historical form. If our boys come out for the 4rd focused and energetic, things will bode well.

Agreed. If the Wings keep playing like that they will most likely win this game. Only need to shoot the puck more.

I here you Bill, but they aren't going to cut nor trade Miller. I like Jurco and wish there was room for him, but if he had a future here in Detroit he'd have been in instead of calling up AA. Also, if he had the edge on Miller, Miller would be a scratch. Decisions need to be made soon.

Hopefully they will come out and play hard for the next 20 minutes, really need to have more sustained pressure and hard work from the wings, ALL 60 minutes!

I don't get all this love for Jurco on these forums. 3 goals last season. 11 over his entire NHL career, spanning over 100 games now. He's had plenty of opportunities all throughout the lineup with just about everyone on the team, and has regularly been outperformed by his peers regardless of where the coaches put him. Babcock scratched him because of his general ineffectiveness, and Blashill (who was supposed to give him a fair shot based on their relationship in GR) has only been willing to play him 4 games this season. Jurco may be young and have his whole career left, but that doesn't mean anything if he's unable to get his career started.

Spezza kneed Howard in the head. Accidental or not, he needs to be made to pay, and it is inexcusable for the refs not to stop play when the Wings had possession.
