Odds that Hemsky gets a call on that hit? It's worth nothing that E is a few inches taller than Hemsky, so it took some effort to hit him that high.

Blash needs to raise immortal hell, players take entirely too many liberties against this team with zero consequences. Our goalies can get bowled over and the goal will stand, knees in the head, illegal hits, star players intentionally targeted and injured. Our heavy hitters are afraid to use their bodies out of fear a suspension will ensue if they do.

I would say the odds are zero. It worked out for the Stars. Just a Wing, and just our goalie... but thankfully Mraz is young and can just play all the games until Howie's ok.

So many missed nets and fanning on grade A scoring chances. We played well but our forwards need more size, Gus and Tatar on the same line sums up our issues offensively and I don't know what people see in Pulks, he's useless unless he's one timing pucks wide

im more pissed about the 2 non calls. spezza knocking out howard and the refs allowing play to continue and hemsky jumping into the numbers of ericsson leading his face right into the boards

Whoops, got the two injurers mixed up. Yeah it doesn't help much now, but nobody has to wonder why the Wings have such a high Man Games Lost stat with all this borderline stuff being let go

Yeah I'd just give up on Pulkinnen. He may have some NHL potential around the league but I don't see what we could gain from a small one dimensional player. It's exactly what we have too many of that are much better.

Spezza hitting Howard was incidental, You can clearly see him lifting his knee, instead of laying weight on it to deliver a more critical hit...I would like to think. Hemsky's hit on Ericsson deserves an a** whopping and was clearly a 4 minute penalty (or double minor, I guess is the right term). I don't know what it takes for Ericsson to get physical and kick some a**

I think this team has found its legs. These losses feel much better then they did a couple weeks ago. Once we we get some guys back and hopefully stay healthy we win a game like this

Why do players continue to make these hits, if you see numbers don't hit the guy. The league needs a zero tolerance policy on these types of hits. He also launched into an already dirty hit.

I'm not mad at spezza for the knee on Howard.

He clearly didn't mean it, and tried to avoid it by lifting his leg, but it ended up making it worse.

Things like this happen, hockey is a really physical game, whatever.

But the refs not blowing the whistle after it isn't acceptable, or in any way defendable.

I'm upset with the way things went with hemskys hit, but I'm glad e hit him in the face a few times.

Whether or not people agree, people don't take liberties when he's on the ice without paying for it somehow. And when he backs off its smart because we end up with a pp out of it. I wish he played physical every game, but he truly doesn't deserve the flak that he gets around here.
