And that Washington game should have been 6-1 if Ovechkin has a normal night. Green SUCKS right now. Get his ass on the 3rd pairing and play him on the pp primarily. He is killing us. This guy is coughing up goals and racking up minuses right now like Newman eats muffin stumps. Smith would be nailed to a cross if he was wearing #25. It seems like we all have this conversation way too much. This team does have no identity. Not offensive, not defensive, not gritty. No one knows what we are. But how can we suck this much offensively? Nyquist, tatar, pav, hank, larkin, kronwall, green. What the hell is happening here? Maybe a huge trade like the shanahan deal. 168 lbs, 174 lbs, 192 lbs, 187 lbs, 190 lbs, 186 lbs, 203 lbs. Only Hank and Dats play to their weights. The rest play like 5th grade midgets. Yeah, they look bad tonight. Guess what? It's the second game of a back-to-back, with brand new lines and a brand new face in the lineup, and they've had a bunch of bounces not go their way. Mrazek is a little off tonight from his usual self and there have been a few egregious mistakes on the defensive end. That's a bunch of really bad things to throw into one game, but I don't think the sky is falling here. I don't think we should look at this game positively so far, but nobody needs to be shipped off before the game is even over.
