And dont try to tell me Nyquist is LISTED at blah blah blah. He's a wimpy midget. This team needs a few guys that can bang. Not more 5'9" Euros playing ice capades.

i agree on goose being small sometimes he looks like a million bucks other times he is easy to get off the puck and manhandle and that is the problem but what do we do about it this team is what we got there is nothing really to do only thing\ good all the atlantic with the exception of mtl is barely a 500 team right now

Good, positive outlook! I hope they get their s*** together in the third too :)

Common theme again though. Why ******* try when you're down 3-0? How about play with some tenacity when it's 0-0. I think I expect this team to be better than they are. But that's my issue. :)

I'll give you a hint: We have this conversation only when the team loses.

When you win, you're the best team on the planet. When you lose, you're god-awful and should just quit. I guess.

Yeah, they look bad tonight. Guess what? It's the second game of a back-to-back, with brand new lines and a brand new face in the lineup, and they've had a bunch of bounces not go their way. Mrazek is a little off tonight from his usual self and there have been a few egregious mistakes on the defensive end. That's a bunch of really bad things to throw into one game, but I don't think the sky is falling here. I don't think we should look at this game positively so far, but nobody needs to be shipped off before the game is even over. I'm not about moral victories but let's see who steps up in the third.

Thank you for that post.To be fair, the Bruins don't play lights out. It were our mistakes that let to these goals. But I agree, the Sky isn't falling and if a few bounces here and there had gone the Wings way it would be 2:2 or even 2:1 now.

Edit : Posts were merged, with the part below the above might read sarcastically. It's not meant to be.

Helm not able to pull the trigger and falls down instead. At this point it's almost comedy.

Team is hard to watch most nights so far this season. Goaltending has masked most of our problems, but yeesh the defense can't make a tape to tape pass out of the zone to save their lives. At least we have Larkin who is good for a few highlights every night to make the games sort of exciting.

These new lines look terrible to me. Not a shake up that's going to generate offense.

Yeah, I'd put Z and D back together and have Larkin center his own line. It's a minor thing, but when we're struggling to score goals and Pulks gets hurt, why put Andersson in? Dude can't skate or shoot. At least Jurco would bring a bit of skill to the top 9

Clearly. As does the forum that is dedicated to the team in question. It almost.... makes sense that the ups and downs would go hand in hand. Am I right?

Or we could have perspective. We just scored.

Or we could have perspective. We just scored.

We could also accept that everyone doesn't see and react to things the same way that we do, and that there's nothing wrong with people having different perspectives. Edited by barabbas16
