Nyquist was great

Abby had a downright embarrassing night I think he was getting chirped all night. He blew like 6 grade A chances, still played alright otherwise

Highlight reel goal scored on us probably will be seeing that all year

Shame we couldn't bury more chances and our few mistakes really cost us but two points is great for one of our best games

Is it just me or is Dekeseyer a terrible passer? So many icings on easy plays. I think he's really struggling the the stretch pass, still playing alright otherwise

Definitely would've been a shame not to get 2 points tonight.

Too bad we had to give Ottawa a point, but a win is a win. Blash needs to stop the Glendening love, the guy is killing us. He has a place, 4th line center, and get the bulk of his minutes on the PK. He CANNOT be playing almost 16 minutes a night, I love his story and his grit, but he's just not that good. That's really my only gripe, really liked the other lines tonight. Larkin continues to be my favorite player in a long, long time.

Got a bunch of guys that were on cold streaks going with goals. Got the W. Not going to dwell on the blown lead - you knew it would happen at the 9min mark. We should be generating more offence earlier in the game to prevent these tight games. D isn't our strength by any stretch of the imagination and so when we try protecting 1 goal leads this will happen.

3goal Howie... I hate it when we are only one goal up in the last 3-4 minutes like tonight. Howie is more likely to give up the tying goal... Like tonight. Thank heavens Tatar scored to give us 2 points tonight something we haven't seen lately.

We won. Good game. The 3rd goal showed the biggest hole on our team. Ryan-how about that compete level Kenny? beats Glendening and Green is standing there. Instead of putting Ryan on his ass like he should, he tried to hit the puck. That allowed Ryan to skate around Jimmy and score the goal.

We don't scare anyone. There are certain places on the ice where a player should expect to get hit. In front of the goal, in the corners, and behind the goal. But not when you play the RW's. Thus F's run at our goal all game long. There is zero pain to our game. None.

Come on!! That play has zero to do with lack of a punishing playing style and ALL to do with Glendenning doing the suck. Just terrible stuff from our supposed "shut-down" guy. Green had no chance to react. Howard had MORE of a chance because he had more time. But he's your boy right?

Top Gun > Howard > Green.

There's your critical path of finger pointing.

Green messed up just as much as Glendening. Ryan made his move on Glendening back by the blueline and Green was in position to cover for him. In the time it took for Ryan to skate from the blueline to the crease to score the goal Green pushed off with his right foot only twice (and left foot zero times), which tells me he had plenty of time to properly adjust, and didn't. Instead he relied on flailing his stick around which tends to not work on stars like Bobby Ryan.

Glendening messed up by letting Ryan steal the puck. Green messed up by not adjusting accordingly. I'm sure both will be notified of this when they go over the tape with the coaches.

I'd say more along the lines of Top Gun > Green = Howard

I'd have to see the play again but I almost feel like Green could have knocked Ryan on his a** before he got to the net. But that doesn't sound very much like Green style of defense anyway.
