DrRoCkSo_46 6 Report post Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) soo James Neal obviously embellished. The video clearly shows it. And the referee called him out with foul language. So with that should referees call players out like this any time someone dives/embellishes? Edited December 9, 2015 by DrRoCkSo_46
Jacksoni 418 Report post Posted December 9, 2015 Yes they should. And the players should be forced to wear a Pinnochio long nose while doing the jailtime. Also, you should have posted this in the newly created Around the league thread, I think. At least I would have. 1 wings87 reacted to this

Euro_Twins 4,476 Report post Posted December 11, 2015 Pulkinen is a diver too. So is nyquist. We can ***** and moan all we want about these other guys but the sad fact is we've got players who are just as bad. 1 jimmyemeryhunter reacted to this

Neal was so blatant and repeat offender. Edited December 11, 2015 by kickazz
Euro_Twins 4,476 Report post Posted December 11, 2015 Nyquist is not AS bad tho. One time offender - assuming he learned his lesson. Neal was so blatant and repeat offender. But that's the thing. Nyquist still does it. He just hasn't been caught for a while, obviously not as blatantly as Neal, but I've noticed him doing it here and there still 1 PavelValerievichDatsyuk reacted to this
MrazekFanBoy 223 Report post Posted December 11, 2015 Lots of players do, if a coach tells you to go draw a penalty that's what your going to try to do.
barabbas16 499 Report post Posted December 11, 2015 I hate diving. But, acting like your face got mauled when a stick comes close, but makes no contact.... and holding the opponents stick under your arm purposefully to draw a hooking call are just as unsportsmanlike, in my opinion. It's just diving that gets the attention, though. 1 NerveDamage reacted to this

PavelValerievichDatsyuk 1,935 Report post Posted December 11, 2015 As much as I dislike Neal and think he deserved a diving penalty, I don't think any ref should say "f*** you" to a player. Keep it respectful. They're not the ones that are supposed to be emotionally involved in the game. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this

It's filled with embelishment and fake injuries to "play" the clock and make a boring game even worse.
