I dont know anything about this story, so my comments are my opinion of him prior to this.

I dont think there is anything "thug like" about Evander Kane, I view him in the same stratosphere as Johnny Manziel and Patrick Kane. Arrogant, Douchey....sure, but "thug" doesn't fit him.
