Wings are definitely getting some good breaks tonight. i feel like a lot of these official challenges the refs are more looking not so much whether there's interference, but rather if any interference prevented the goalie from making a save. I know there's been a couple times when Mrazek was clearly interfered with, but the goal would have happened anyway, and the refs called it a good goal despite there being goalie interference. That's how I'm looking at this one too. Helm's back brushed up against their goalie's glove, but that's not why the goal was scored. It was scored because the puck bounced off Gudas and went right over the goalie, who had no clue where the puck even was at that point. If Helm doesn't touch the glove that goal is still going in. His glove was pushed and that could easily be the GWG the way things are going. That was a good challenge. Besides, the timeout is overrated in hockey. Well worth a challenge. It was a about a split second before the shot took place and a split second goes by quickly in hockey. I'm glad we got the call but I don't agree with it and would be pissed if the same happened to us.
