So how far out of the crease is a player suppose to give the goalie? What a freakin joke. Keep your glove in the crease or stop your whining Philly.

Exactly, this notion that goalies can't be touched, even when out of the crease, leads to goalies launching themselves into the back of defenders while making saves hoping to get an interference call.

I see where you are coming from GMR. Gudas was riding Helm into him, it was pretty clear Helm was trying to avoid but couldn't. I could have seen why they would have made the call, but I would also be pissed if that call went against the Wings were the situation reversed.

A similar goal happened to the Wings this year.

Not hard to blow a lead in the 3rd when you're consistently only ahead by one fricking goal.

This. So much this. You need to give your goalie some breathing room. If you only score one you are asking him to pitch a shutout every game. No goalie is going to do that.
