Im taking a few friends and our ladies to Grand Rapids for a Griffins game... We're from Toledo so we're gunna get a hotel and stay the night, there's 8 of us going and we're all in our late 20's. What I need from you guys are a few suggestions for fun places we should go. We'll probably go out after the game(bars) and I believe we're staying at the hotel right next to the Van. I'm excited since all I ever get to see are the Walleye but only a few of us are actual hockey fans.. so any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! amato 3,210 Report post Posted January 21, 2016 I go to games from time to time and there are a lot of good options around the arena. Personally, I like Stella's. It's an arcade bar that serves some pretty great stuffed burgers ( http://www.stellasgr.com/ ) Definitely check out the Founders Brewery too ( foundersbrewing.com ) There are a lot more good places in downtown Grand Rapids, but those are my two personal favorites.
