Unfortunately, I think the Flames will be quite content rolling Hiller and Ortio for the remainder of the season. It certainly wouldn't hurt them to fall further in the standings, increasing their chance at Matthews. It wouldn't hurt to make a phone call though...

now who do you give up first? goose or tats? I love what they both bring to the table, but their styles are much, much different-Id keep Tats

nyquist would be my first choice, but ya i agree tatar has a more unique skill set that id keep over nyquist

howard and nyquist/tatar for johnny hockey

LOL, I feel like Red Wing fans would crap all over Johnny Hockey. All I hear on this board is how our forwards are undersized, I can only imagine the tone if we bring in a kid who is 5'9, 157 pounds. To put that into perspective, Tatar is 30 pounds heavier then he is.

Talent Analysis

Andersson is a two-way defenseman who is engaged in all three zones and is most effective when pushing the pace. His compete level is off the charts and he willingly battles along the boards. He has some offensive elements to his game, both as a goal scoring threat on the rush or from the point and as a playmaker.

Future

Andersson signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Flames in September 2015. He is expected to return to Barrie to play in the OHL in 2015-16 following Calgary's training camp and is a candidate to skate for Sweden in the 2016 World Juniors along with fellow Flames' prospect Oliver Kylington. Long-term Andersson is expected to be a solid two-way defenseman with some scoring ability at the NHL level.

in this chat site, ya never know.

things can get outta hand fast around here.

all i know is, my confidence level is low with 2 of our key defensemen...it was brutal watching smith tonight, and ericcson when he is healthy.

their negatives outweigh the positives every game.

every time they get lucky and score i cringe " great...time to sign a new contract"

something needs to change if we are to survive the first round.

my trade suggests a fix for both us and calgary.
