just getting in from my drive down, all I have to say is Nyquist has historically been horrible on the SO and Dats hasn't scored a SO in what seems like years, so lets put those two out there. The only thing worse would've been Z instead of Richards. Z hasn't been good in the SO either. How about we send out some players that haven't been scouted as much, if at all? AA, Jurco, Pulk...always hear complaints that Pulk can't get enough room to get a shot off, but when he does he usually scores, well what's more room than a breakaway one on one? Still may have lost, but why send out the same stale shooters? No wonder they're 1-5 in the SO.

Seriously, last season he was lights out, even in the SO ( I guess the word historically was wrong to use) but much like Dats, it just seems like forever since he's scored a SO goal, I just figured since we were 1-4 in the SO, sending out the same ol' players was a mistake. If Larkin were not ill, I am sure he would've been out there, but maybe trying 3 guys not scouted as much could've helped. But Blash is in charge.

I think cuz it simply wasn't working anymore and Z needed a speedy kid like Larkin to boost him - which it seemed to have done.

Also I think cuz Blash wanted Tatar and Nyquist to be able to not rely on D and Z as much and work together moreso. Or something like that.
