Too be fair, outside of Habs fans, Wings fans are probably the most unreasonable when it comes to blaming things on goalies.

What he was supposed to do : Covering the passing lane. It was a bad pinch by Marchenko. Got to give Mackinnon some credit for that shot.

It was a great shot. Goalies often get beaten by great shots. There is not one goalie in the league who will stop 100% of the shots he can see. That was in no way a routine shot that should have been a routine save. It's the kind of shot sometimes a goalie will stop, sometimes they won't. Marchenko was caught pinching and coverage was blown. That is where the blame lies.
