Whoever said it earlier, I agree. We need to put two guys on the point on the powerplay. Like a normal team.

Instead, we have one point man, three milk sops along the boards and one guy in front of the goalie. It's not working.

What a frickin win! The Red Wings definitely deserved to win this game. A few notes:

- Another solid game from Petr the Great. What a shame Abby had to lay on him on the 3rd goal because he made such a nice sequence of saves. But again, he came up with late, key saves and even provided a nice assist to put the game away

- Finally Nyquist and Tatar get going- hopefully they keep going

- Marchekno had a terrible game.

- I don't like Abby playing on the top line. He does not do his job of winning battles good enough and he does not have the skill needed. I would like to see Larkin play on the top line because he has been in a little slump lately and he would benefit from Pav and Hank

- Can we PLEASE FIRE OUR PP COACH YET?!!?!

Nice of the NHL and the city of Denver to put on such a spread and forum for all things Red Wings this weekend. See, the Avs need the Red Wings to be their playdate for something like this or they wouldn't even have an outdoor game there. Against whom? Calgary? Minnesota? New Jersey? The Wings could easily host 6 or 7 teams and have it be a huge success.

Also, if I am elected president the wall around Denver just got ten feet higher and Mike Keane is paying for it!!
