it wasn't pretty, but a big confidence builder -- come from behind, lots of puck luck, held it together for the most part. I am looking at all the positives, here, and expect them to come out grinning and ready to win on Saturday. LGRW!!!

NHL tonight has shown every game except the Wings game. It's unreal

I've noticed that in Canada, we usually show a Canadian team playing a US team except if playing Detroit and tonight was an example. A bummer!!!

Dont like us backing down after hits. Thats bush league by abdelkader. If he doesnt answer the bell, larkin will get run. No bueno.

Abby really didn't look like he wanted to go, whether it would have been a good time to(which it wasn't) or not. He looked pretty nervous at the idea of going up against Thorburn.

I get that, but you gotta go in that situation. He's the forward that has to answer the bell when the opponent rings it. Or next game, our guys we dont want hit are gonna have giant bullseyes on them.

Or this kind of nonsense happens. Unwritten rule in hockey that you give the other team a fight after a big hit or when a pending loss is frustrating them. Engage, and you're not going to have any bad blood.

It was a clean hit. The game was on the line. Not fighting was the right call.
