kipwinger 8,523 Report post Posted March 12, 2016 I wish I knew whether the last two period against Winnipeg, and all of this game, were the result of some schematic change on the part of the coaches or whether the guys just buckled down and got their s*** together. But this looked like a totally different team than we've seen of late. I did think the defensemen looked more active today, which may have helped, but I don't know if that's the case. Also helps when you win 66% of the faceoffs. Gotta admit I was wrong about keeping Larkin at center for the remainder of the season. It's far from a sure thing but on paper Philly is a team that a desperate Red Wings team is able to beat. Regardless how hot the Flyers are at the moment. Wonder f theres anywhere online i can watch a replay of the game...? Yes!, They tried hard not to do it, but Richards buried it to tie it. Said it before and i'll say it again, the guy is clutch. Richards is a lot better than the trolls/haters make him out to be for sure. Our entire teams scoring is atrocious so it's easy to blame the new guys. Yeah, i just watched the highlights..was a nice set up for sure. I dunno what people expected out of Richards. They obv weren't getting the 90+ point guy that he was in Dallas, but he's still a solid veteran player with 2 cups, one he just won last season, and has been worth his $3 million. Don't blame facebook Also I understand we won, but I have a few bones to pick with Blash 1) The PP at the end of the game (yes we scored, but I feel it was lucky) Why do we not stack 1 PP especially at this point of the game? With a minute left we had Sheahan Glendenning Richards and Pulkinnen on the ice 2) OT WHY IS ATHANASIOU NOT ON THE ICE? Honestly, if the NHL was pure 3 on 3, he would probably be one of the best players in the league. Guys speed and hands just reek of 3on3. He's had what, 2 shifts on 3v3 OT and he was amazing.
