Theres no pressure down low and we only cycle towards the blue line, even if we get a shot off its from the point and we don't even have any shooters there. PP coach straight up needs to be fired. I've never played competitive hockey and I can see what needs to happen. If were lucky enough to get the puck down low the PP is too spread out so theres no separation and they cant make cross ice passes. They need to take a page out of Washingtons PP and have 3 guys on one side of the ice and set up a one timer in the slot on the other side. We could put Green, Pulkinnen, Dats, Tats, even Richards there. It's a broken record harping on how terrible the PP is, but one would think things may change? Watching Nyquist force that slap pass to Z summed up the PP for the entire year. I'd feel more confident if they were creating chances and not finishing, but PP after PP they are not even registering a shot. The steak is nice but we need a overhaul being mired in good enough to get in and one and done is not what i care to see anymore.
