During March, Mrazek has a 3-5 record, 3.81 GAA and .887 save percentage.

Howard has been the Red Wings' more consistent goalie in the past five weeks with a 3-2-1 record, 2.80 GAA and .911 save percentage in nine appearances.

I don't get why people (not you chaps) just can't accept the fact that Mrazek sucks right now. It's not a bad thing. People go through sucky stretches all the time. What's important is winning. Especially now. I think Howard is the better goalie (only by a bit) at the moment. I'm sorry but as a fan I care more about winning than being stubborn and not accepting reality.

As much as I've NEVER been a Howard fan. He should play over Mrazek. Plain and simple.

He got totally lost on the 3-2 goal but made a couple of great pad saves late.........................and he won. I like winning.

I can't quote on my phone right now for some reason, so as for the Mrazek/Howard thing, if you look at stats then Howard has been better. But in the two latest blowout games(PIT,TBL), Mrazek got the losses as starter, but after he was pulled, Howard came in and let 3 goals in each. It's not like he came in and shut it down.In the MTL game, Mrazek saved another embarassing loss by his play until the third, when he let in a questionable one or two. Tonight Howard wasn't really tested all game then everything almost fell apart at the end.If you look at what they've both done game by game lately, they both haven't done well. One has to step up, and soon.

Even excluding stats - Mrazek has choked in the first two periods of a few games. This isn't a time of the year where you can do that.

It seems Howard sucks at closing out games while Mrazek sucks at starting them.

The ending of this game was very disappointing. You dominate this team for 57 minutes and almost blow it. Unreal. They showed Blash smiling after the win, I would have been staring a hole through each and every one of them. Play for 60 minutes. Just one time. Try it. The first Buffalo goal 10 seconds after we scored the 3rd one was unbelievable. I am SOOO tired of watching the other team score or at least get a great scoring chance right after we score. This is on the coach. You don't dominate for 57 minutes, play like garbage in the last 3 minutes and have it be a player problem. Blash has got to motivate these guys, keep them focused on the task at hand and put out the guys that can accomplish that. Babcock would have had someone's head after that ending. Plus, it would be one thing if the team making the comeback was good, but it's Buffalo. Buffalo. No excuse. They better come ready to play tonight.
