Tatar Locks Himself Out Of Home

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

I locked myself out of my mom's house once. I broke a window to get in because that seemed like the logical thing to do. My mom was not pleased when she got home-and reminded me that there was a spare key hidden outside. Needless to say I had to pay to have the window fixed

How do you actually lock yourself out of your home anyway? The article suggested everyone has probably done it, but I don't get it. Now, as a kid growing up, we never locked the doors anyway, so wouldn't be possible. Now, when I leave and lock the door, I need to use a key from the outside to do so...only way to get locked out is if I lost the key (which means I would have lost my car keys too). Is this the common situation?

^ you don't need a key to lock your door from the outside. You can lock your door inside ( twist a knob) and walk out and it will stay locked

Lock technology has changed for decades now. It's why so many folks lock themselves out of their hourse

I know you can do that with some doors (not mine), but not sure why you'd ever want to a lock a door that way.

There's different settings. He probably has it so that his door knob only twists from the inside and not from outside so he never has to worry about locking his door. Just in and out easy and it's pre-set to always being locked to the outside world. Only way to ever get in is the key.

I always thought athletes lived in fancy mansions. That place in the background looks like an ordinary place a young college student would live in. Or a crack dealer.

These homes are just off the main drag in downtown Royal Oak. $$$
