You don't run the team. It's a corporation making the playoffs is expected by Mr I whether you, me or anyone likes it or not. The sooner you realize this the better off you will be.

I've heard that a lot but where is a proof of that? Wings are risking to turn into the Leafs or Canucks who for the longest time refused to rebuild. Vancouver still doesn't see the Eriksson signing.

If the order is indeed from Mr I than you are right Holland must follow the orders.

If they bring in some bought out guys in the hope they'll regain their form this team might as well get used to first round exits for a long time.

Proof is the Legwand trade.

Proof is re-signing middle of the road players.

Proof is striking out on Suter/Parise and Stamkos and then signing other teams' second tier vets.

Proof is over-ripening supposed can't-miss prospects like Mantha.

Proof is not committing to a genuine youth movement.
