That's what I'm afraid of. Many of us are expecting Holland to at least do ONE thing this off-season to shake things up, but the more I think about it, the less likely it is I think he'll get anything done. We'll get stuck with Datsyuk's contract, stuck with Howard, fail to acquire a top D-man or impact forward, the sky will fall, etc. Hopefully I'm wrong....

Nothing like 10 million tied up in two goalies with really nowhere for Howard to be unloaded to. I was honestly hoping this deal would happen before the Datsyuk contract got traded... Oh well.

Sad to say it, but until the playoff streak ends, nothing will change. Until that streak is over, we will see nothing but safe moves.
